Question 3
What kind of media institution may distribute your media product and why?
An institution is a company that disperses a media product for audience consumption. It is often a profit based organisation that deals with the creation and distribution of the advertising, entertainment and information services.
The main difference between the distribution of films would be how amateur they are. For example, our thriller opening is very amateur, therefore, distributers like YouTube and websites like Vimeo would wold be the best place to put out opening. These are both free ways to distribute the films, and therefore help to gain recognition. Anyone can view these videos, making it a lot easier for others to see them. Other ways would be things such as film festivals for other amateur movies, short or long.
The distribution of other films, such as ones produced by Warner Bros. and Dream works are always a lot more precise, and therefore would cost a lot more money to produce.
